Terms of use
These terms cover using HypeSkeptics: reading it, creating an account and commenting. By using the site you agree to them.
1. What the site is
HypeSkeptics publishes consumer tech news with our own opinion on it. Stories are journalism and opinion, not professional, financial or purchasing advice. Prices, specs and availability change; check them with the seller before you buy anything.
2. Accounts
You need an account to comment. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is posted from your account. Display names that impersonate someone else, including our writers, are not allowed.
3. Comments
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting it you allow us to show it on the site. Comments must follow the community guidelines. We can hide any comment and mute or close any account that breaks them, without notice.
4. Our content
The stories, images and design on this site belong to HypeSkeptics or to the people we credit. You can quote short passages with a link back; copying whole stories is not allowed.
5. Links to other sites
We link to sources and, in the future, to stores. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or sell.
6. No guarantees
We work to get every fact right and correct mistakes in the open, but the site is provided as is. We are not liable for decisions you make based on what you read here.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always this page, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. Questions go through the contact page.
