Comments are open to anyone with an account. Keep them useful and civil. These are the rules everyone posting agrees to.

   Stay on topic

   Talk about the story or the product in it. No spam, no self promotion.

   Argue the point, not the person

   Disagree as hard as you like. Insults, harassment and slurs get removed.

   Disclose your own links

   If you post a referral or affiliate link, say so in the same comment.

   No misinformation

   Claims about specs, prices or recalls should be checkable. Link the source if you have one.

5. 05

   Nothing illegal or explicit

   No piracy links, no adult content, no personal details of other people.

What happens if you break them

Out of place comments are hidden. Accounts that keep breaking the rules are muted, which means they can no longer post. Moderation decisions are final. Full terms on the terms of use page.
